YOU HELPED MAKE INDIA’S CHILDREN A PRIORITY

Children constitute over a third of India’s population of a 1.21 billion and yet they are only perceived as the ‘future generation’ of economically contributing adults and not as citizens of today. The CRY study, ‘Status Report on Child Rights in India: An Overview of the Past Decade’ shows a very dismal situation where current issues concerning children are highlighted.

Children’s issues remain largely invisible and de-prioritized as they do not constitute the vote bank; they do not figure in electoral outcomes – an issue such as inflation could make or break a government but the fact that every second child in the country is malnourished does not have such an impact on the course or consequence of elections and governments.

This XVI Lok Sabha Election, CRY is seeking your support to put children first. Sign the Child Rights manifesto and get our leaders to do more for children. Pledge your support and Vote for Child Rights.
