In India, millions of children like Asma, do not go to school due to the lack of a secure livelihood for their families or simply, a lack of teachers, classrooms or toilets. 28 years of working with and for children have taught us, at CRY that resources have little to do with it. We have witnessed irreversible change when NGOs and communities at grassroots levels, and individuals like you, have come together to identify, address and resolve issues that constrain children. Every year, a community in rural Maharshtra seasonally migrates for better livelihood opportunities. Children stay out of school and lack of proper medical care and drinking water are commonplace. Amidst this situation, alongwith KMAGVS, a CRY supported initiative, this community endeavour to better their own and their children's lives.
