Leave a Legacy to CRY
CRY's first legacy was the extraordinary dream bestowed to us, by our founder Rippan Kapur who passed away at the age of 40. With our first legacy as our foundation, we initiate our legacy giving programme, so that you can continue to make a difference to the lives of children tomorrow. More...
Support the movement for Child Rights
For 30 years now, CRY, has been getting the money, time, skills and support of millions like you to partner not only CRY, but over 200 NGO's and 3000 community based organizations working at the grassroots, addressing several issues that affect the rights of children across India. More...
Our approach to child rights is not a symptomatic one. Which means, if a child is not going to school, rather than, appoint a teacher or erect a school building, we tackle all the issues that come in the way of the child's education for eg, malnourishment, migration of families etc.
In this way we're able to make change that lasts.
You might ask 'So what does my money end up supporting?'
Take your pick. Teacher trainings, salaries of community workers who ensure children have an education, access to healthcare, create awareness among parents and adults in a community - their rights to livelihood, food security and so much more.
Funds collected are pooled together and used to support small, nascent initiatives in rural and urban India. These grassroots organisations address key issues affecting children and their families. For more information on the selection and review process, click here
So your money in effect goes a much longer way, reaching out to more children, across more issues, across lasting change.
You can read more on the impact your support has made to children in our Stories of Hope section. For more details, feel free to contact the CRY office nearest to you or write in to webinfo@crymail.org
