Over three decades, CRY-supported projects have made change in the lives of children and their families across 20 states in India. CRY addresses the root causes and problems - such as unemployment, ill-health, migration, poverty - that force children to drop out of school.
CRY believes mobilising the community and enabling direct intervention through local NGO partners to ensure children's rights. Along with the support of the partner NGOs, we organise self-help groups within communities to voice their rights.
Another key aspect of CRY's framework is advocacy with government bodies to influence the framing of policies and their implementation towards the betterment of India's children.
