CRY CORPORATE RESPONSIBILITY SUMMIT
Mumbai, December 12, 2013
In March 2012, CRY – Child Rights and You launched its landmark initiative in the area of Corporate Social Responsibility – The CRY Corporate Responsibility Summit (CCRS).
In it’s 3rd year, the summit tackles the issues and implications on all profit making companies vis-à-vis the implementation of the new Companies Bill. The Summit shall address the key challenges faced by companies in creating and implementing Corporate Responsibility strategies, taking into account the diverse aspects of business imperatives, stakeholder engagement, impact on brand and long term sustainability.
The format this year will be distinctly different – focused on providing in-depth learning on creation of effective CSR programmes.
Half-day Masterclasses will be conducted by experts in this area, to ensure the adoption of global best practices. These working sessions are designed from a uniquely interactive perspective- you will work through live case stories submitted by fellow participants and be privy to a gamut of Q&A sessions amongst yourselves leading to a hands-on understanding of how to create successful CSR programmes.
There would be two parallel Masterclasses:
- Learn to craft and implement a CSR strategy for your organisation
- How to communicate your CSR work in an effective way to enhance the value of your brand
Over the last 2 years, the Summit has successfully taken its first steps towards understanding current practices, trends and challenges. We were fortunate to have some very distinguished speakers from various arenas- Nitin Paranjpe, Kishor Chaukar, Ronnie Screwvala, Harsh Mariwala, Santosh Desai, Bhaskar Chatterjee and many other eminent personalities offered valuable perspectives at the summit.
John Elkington, strategic thinker, author and creator of the term ‘triple bottom line’ will be a part of the Summit for the third year.
