The month-long campaign against child labour in Delhi will kick off on June 12th at the India Habitat Centre with the following activities:
1. Interface with policy makers
2. Theatre performance by CRY volunteers
3. Showcase of videos captured by CRY volunteers
4. Exhibition of select photographs clicked by CRY supporters
6. Signing of child rights protection pledge

WORLD DAY AGAINST CHILD LABOUR – JUNE 12
- There are about 50 lakh child labourers in India - the highest number in the world.
- More than 1 in 10 children between 10 and 18 years of age are engaged in some kind of work for livelihood
- 4 out of 10 working children in the age group of 10-18 are unpaid helper in household
