CRYcket 2007

Friends of CRY club Kuwait organized the annual Kids CRY cricket match - CRYcket 2007 on November 9th at Ahmadi, Kuwait.  Despite being Diwali day, the venue was full of children and cheering spectators from the early morning. The spectators watched 25 games played between 9 teams in the Under-14 category and 11 teams in the Under-12 category. Mr. Anil Kumar Rai, the second secretary, consular services (Indian Embassy) graced the occasion as chief guest of the event.

The issue of Child Labour was taken up as the theme and the event was a platform to create awareness on the subject. The children had an exciting day and watching them play with so much enthusiasm, joy and thrill was truly exhilarating.
