Helping Hands

Helping Hands Association, based in Sophia Antipolis, France, was started by a small group of staff from Amadeus, in 2003. The group does whatever it can to directly help various humanitarian initiatives, both local and international.

On July 9th, 2004, Helping Hands, organised their first International book sale at the Place Sophie Lafitte. The books were donated mainly by the staff at Amadeus. The sale was a big success, delighting booklovers and raising 510 euros in just 2 hours. The funds will go to Prayas, a Jaipur-based NGO that rehabilitates, educates and socially mainstreams mentally-challenged children.

Helping Hands plans to make this a regular event.
