The main focus of the CRY – supported project RIGHTS as a child rights organisation is to identify child rights violation cases across the state, particularly among the Dalit, Adivasi and Fishing communities in the intervention areas. As a Resource organization this partnership is focused on aspects of research and action on core issues of holistic Child Rights. Through the year, RIGHTS has shown the way in advocacy processes at policy and judicial levels and to create an environemnt of engagement with government on issues of Education and Malnutrition. The state officials / departments such as finance ministry/ social justice dept, Kerala SCPCR have acknowledged the role of Rights in the Union Budget and evidence based advocacy studies.
