Soccer for Child Rights … From an Intern’s Point of View

CRY004It was 6 am and I woke up with excitement. The wait was finally over, there was so much work and preparations put into the event by CRY team from the past couple of months. When I reached the FSV Arena for CRY Soccer for Child Rights, I could sense the anticipation and excitement in everyone .

The corporate teams, organizers and volunteers showed great enthusiasm, passion and team spirit. It was indeed motivating to watch the SC STEDS(CRY supported – Slum Children Sports Talent Education Development Society) show immense talent and skills in football. They truly inspired everyone out there and they made me realize that dedication, discipline and determination can help us achieve our goals no matter how difficult life gets.

The atmosphere was just spectacular till the end. There were children, families and friends supporting their favorite teams. The day was filled with laughter, joy and happiness, also a bit of tension and nail biting moments as the teams battled against each other.

It was indeed a huge opportunity for me to be a part of such a wonderful event. I would consider myself fortunate to be able to participate, learn, grow and cherish all these unforgettable memories forever.
