As part of its Click Rights- Open Your Eyes campaign, CRY is organizing photo exhibitions with photographs clicked by child labourers, CRY volunteers, interns and eminent photographers across 5 cities in July 2014. In addition, we are also organizing outreach events in colleges, universities and public spaces to spread awareness on #OpenYourEyes and invite more people to pledge their support and join the cause.

National Consultation on Child Labour, New Delhi, 10th June 2014: CRY organized a National Consultation on Child Labour in New Delhi bringing together child rights experts like Prof. Shanta Sinha, University of Hyderabad, Prof. Babu Mathew, National Law University, Delhi, Shireen Khan, ILO, Delhi, Ms. Vandana Khandari, UNICEF, Delhi and ex-chairperson CWC Bharti Sharma to discuss a way forward to the Child Labour (Prohibition and Regulation) Act (CLPRA) amendment bill 2012. CRY Click Rights Exhibition in Kolkata: The Kolkata edition of the CRY Click Rights 2014 exhibition kickstarted at City Centre Mall, Salt Lake on July 19 urging citizens to #OpenYourEyes to #childlabour through a collection of compelling photos taken by CRY Volunteers, IIT Kharagpur student Ujjawal on his #Ride4ChildRights mission, eminent photographers and children in labour themselves. The 2-day exhibition organized by CRY and supported by the City Centre and campaign partner SPAN and NAP, also saw performances by young talent from the city including singers and musicians Ritam Bhattacharya, Prantik Das, Annesha Ganguly and Orchisama Das. CRY Click Rights Exhibition in New Delhi: CRY will be organizing a series of #OpenYourEyes exhibitions in Delhi starting 23rd and 24th July at DLF Saket. This will be followed by an exhibition at DLF Cyber Hub in Gurgaon from 25th to 27th July and an exhibition at the International Women's Press Club on 30th July. CRY Click Rights Exhibition in Mumbai: The Click Rights #OpenYourEyes exhibitions in Mumbai will start on the weekend of 26th-27th July at INORBIT Vashi. This will be followed by a special youth event at Wilson College on Monday 28th July which includes a ‘Superhero Walk’ by students from 20 colleges at 5 PM. CRY Click Rights Exhibition in Bangalore: Bangalore will see a series of exhibitions on Click Rights #OpenYourEyes starting 19th July at Rangoli Metro Art Gallery on MG Road. The 2-day event will be followed by exhibitions at Forum Mall and Atta Gallata in Kormangala on 22nd and 26th July respectively and Chirakala Parishat (CKP) and Mantri Mall, Malleshwaram on 30th July and 2-3rd August respectively.
