  • 100% immunisation of children and 94% immunisation of pregnant mothers done successfully
  • 45 children reported as malnourished last year successfully treated
  • No child marriage was reported last year

Adivasi Vikas Trust has been working in 13 villages of Dediyapada block and 7 villages of Sagbara block of Narmada district in Gujarat since the last 3 years actively. The founding member of Adivasi Vikas Trust, Mr Ishwarbhai Pawar has worked as CRY Fellow for two years, in 2010 and 2011. Initially, Project holder worked as an individual fellow and was converted from fellow to organization in 2012. Since the last two years the organization has been working towards ensuring the implementation of childrens right’s in the intervention area. With support from CRY, AVT is working towards strengthening health services, addressing malnutrition issues & implementation of the RTE act the area. Adivasi Vikas Trust has addressed various issues pertaining to child migration, food insecurity, malnutrition among women and children, regularizing of immunization, enrollment of children in schools, education, child trafficking and child marriage. It is proactively working on the Health & Malnutrition issues in Narmada district of Gujarat.
