The Korba district is highly critical in the issue of child protection. Some of the other issues which are prevalent are education and malnutrition. Over the last 3 years the organisation has been able to build the perspective of the mahila mandal, the community, adolescent girls group, children’s group on Child Rights issues. The organisation has shown commitment towards addressing the issues of child rights and believes in community mobilization to address the issues of Child Rights. As a result of the awareness created by the animators, on the importance of education, parents have started sending their children to school regularly, and children who have never been to school have been enrolled in schools by their parents for the very first time.
