RJSS is working with CRY since 2012 in 17 villages of 2 panchayats of Satgawan block in Sawgawan and Koderma Block (chatarwar and sadar) in Koderma district are the bordering blocks of Jharkhand and Bihar. These are the remotest blocks and poor in terms of different child right indicators. RJSS has been working in the areas over the years on issues of Education, Health and Protection issues like child marriage. As a result of their consistent efforts all the villages have access to school, ICDS centres and primary health services, which were very limited earlier. Over the last 2 years campaigns for stopping child marriages have also started showing results. This year different religious communities and associations of priests have united against child marriages.
