Samagra Seva was founded in 1999 and registered in 2001 by Mr Makeshwar Rawat with a view to build a rapport with the community, understanding the socio-economic political issues and placing children at its core. The organization focused on capacity building of the team members on different aspects for effective programme implementation. They also generated awareness in the community on children’s issues that emerge, slowly. The sincere efforts last year by Samagra Seva have been able to bring about some positive changes in the community in terms of awareness on education and triumph over the trust of the community. The CRY supported organization has been able to create its visibility in 37 tolas in 30 villages in Jamui Sadar and Jhajha blocks of Jamuai district in Bihar as a Child Rights organization and has used its potential of government advocacy.
