Your support can help children and families affected by floods.
Flash floods triggered by cloudbursts have devastated lives in Kishtwar, Jammu & Kashmir – Sweeping away homes, cutting off entire communities, and forcing children and families into unsafe, makeshift shelters.
While some relief has reached the region, for many, survival itself is now at stake. Water sources are contaminated. Sanitation systems have collapsed. Families—especially children—face growing threats of cholera, diarrhoea, malaria, and other life-threatening infections. The risk of a secondary health crisis is rising fast.
CRY – Child Rights and You – is on the ground, working closely with the District Disaster Management Authority and trusted local partners to bring urgent relief to flood-affected communities.
Here’s how your support is helping:
Without urgent support, children in flood-hit Jammu & Kashmir face a future with uncertainty – without clean water, without schools, without a safe place to simply be children..
But together, we can change that.
Your support can restore dignity, health, and stability to children and families who’ve lost everything. It can ensure that vulnerable children in remote areas are not forgotten. It can help them survive this moment—and begin to rebuild their lives.
🆘Let’s act now—before this crisis deepens further.
Even in the face of disaster, your compassion can make healing possible. Help flood-hit children and families in Jammu & Kashmir reclaim their safety and future.
