Established in 1979, Child Rights and You (CRY) stands as India’s most trusted charitable organization. With over four decades of relentless commitment, CRY champions every child’s right to a joyful childhood.

As one of the leading charities, CRY dedicates its efforts to various child rights issues encompassing child labor, child marriage, child nutrition, and education. Presently, CRY works with 144 project partners at the grassroots level to create sustainable change for India’s children across 20 states and 118 districts.

Our Work
At CRY, we collaborate with grassroots project partners to address pressing needs and ensure enduring transformations. Our on-ground team is actively engaged in:

• Facilitating school enrollment drives in rural areas
• Connecting premature underweight babies to critical government healthcare services
• Ensuring timely vaccinations and adequate nutrition for children through to govt. health system
• Combating child marriage by connecting families to MNREGA job opportunities
• Assisting children in accessing government scholarships for higher education

Our Impact in 2023-24:
In the previous fiscal year, CRY’s efforts impacted:

• 21,14,322 children impacted overall
• 2,33,967 children in school
• 1,04,683 children are a part of the children’s collectives and have an independent voice
• 47,463 children benefitted from digital learning through CRY’s Support Centres
• 7,605 kitchen gardens set up across 12 states, as a sustainable solution towards nutrition
