57 years after independence, 2 million Indian children die every year before reaching their first birthday, less than half between the age of 6 and 14 go to school, and every second child is malnourished.

The XIV Lok Sabha elections are upon us, and it's time for all of us supporters of child rights to stand up and be counted.
Let your candidate know that a prosperous India starts with ensuring basic rights to India's children, who make up one third of the population but have no vote and therefore no voice. Ask them to make child rights an integral part of their agendas / manifestos. Urge your friends to add their voice to yours. Turn your silent support into a deluge of email, letters and on-site pledges that no political party can ignore. |

As an independent NGO working in the area of child rights for the last 25 years, CRY has drafted a Children's Manifesto and an appeal letter to heads of political parties. Read the manifesto, sign the appeal letter and send both to your party leader . If you prefer, sign your support here and we will send the names so collected to all the party leaders. Download our poster and web banner and display them wherever you can. Sponsor the cost of mailing appeal letters. |

Your support to CRY has already made a difference to the lives of 1.25 million Indian children. This is your chance to give those numbers take a quantum leap. |
