Every year, a community in rural Maharshtra seasonally migrates for better livelihood opportunities. Children stay out of school and lack of proper medical care and drinking water are commonplace. Well inside the Rann of Kutch are 'vands' or hamlets of nomadic tribes. Settled away from villages, they remain out of the ambit of government schemes. This story highlights the indomitable resilience of these people and their struggle to obtain better facilities and opportunities for their children.
