At various intervals and for specific purposes, CRY has initiated, launched, organised campaigns to amplify the voice of children and their rights. These campaigns range from influencing child-friendly policies to rehabilitation efforts in disaster and natural calamities to creating awareness on the situation of children. We invite you to join us in these movements. Your support is crucial to bring about social change in the lives of children and their communities, especially the marginalised.
CRY is now Child Rights and You To highlight our belief in justice for all India's children and to make a quantum shift in the awareness of child rights we changed our name. From April 1, 2006, CRY now stands for Child Rights and You. More... There's no stopping the Girl Child It is heartening to know that the 21st century has provided a no-stops mode for the educated, middle class Indian girl to mature into a woman who builds her own dreams and excels in various fields. Yet, there is a vast majority of women, who by accident of being born underprivileged have been left out in the cold.
