Donate to protect vulnerable children

As India struggles with the COVID-19 outbreak, underprivileged communities and their children are at greater risk.

To ensure children and their families maintain strict hygiene and stay safe, we have put together a hygiene kit that’ll be given to the families of over 3.5 lakh children in villages across India. This kit includes hand wash soaps, cotton scarves to serve as face masks and information brochures that explain preventive measures against COVID-19. With social distancing protocols in place, we’ve also included some toys to help children stay engaged while quarantined at home.

Since the on-going nationwide lockdown has severely affected the livelihoods of these marginalized communities, we will also be providing a packet of dry rations to over 1.76 Lakh underprivileged households across India. This will include cereal, dal, oil, sugar, soy chunks and peanuts and will last them a month to help ensure basic nutrition for the children and their family members.

In addition to this, we’ll be spreading awareness amongst our communities on the importance of hand washing practices and other necessary precautions to stay safe. Everything will be in accordance with government protocols and with all necessary permissions.

But we cannot do this without your help.

Donate to CRY, India’s most trusted NGO, and protect India’s most vulnerable children and their families.

"I believe that everyone has something to donate-be it in the form of money, love or time. But if the privileged do not spare even a small amount of money for charity, then who will? The knowledge that each dollar will be spent effectively by CRY to solve critical issues brings a smile to my face."

Simron Sokhi, Donor from Singapore

"Changing the lives of children is a continuous process. Nothing can be done in a limited period. As individuals we have to continue to give support by way of financial help, time as well as other resources. I believe in continuity and devotion without deviation. CRY is doing just that."
