Give children a brighter future by contributing to CRY’s Academic Support Centres

Although schools have reopened, children from marginalized communities are still struggling to catch up with their studies. The prolonged disruption has left many with significant learning gaps and a loss of important life skills. Sadly, many children had to drop out during this period, putting their education and future at risk. If this issue isn’t addressed, these children may never return to school, jeopardizing their bright futures.

To prevent this, CRY has set up Academic Support Centres across the country, helping children reconnect with their education. These centres are giving them the confidence and skills they need to return to school by:

• Conducting interactive, fun-filled classes to bridge the learning gap and keep children from dropping out
• Engaging children in creative activities like storytelling, singing, and dancing to motivate them
• Conducting awareness drives to help communities and parents understand the importance of education
• Educating families on the dangers of child marriage, child labor, and trafficking, which often result from school dropouts
• Forming children’s collectives to empower children to advocate for their well-being and pursue their aspirations
