Position Summary:
This person will be central to the Monitoring and Evaluation system at the Regions. He/ she will consolidate, monitor progress achieved against pre-decided indicators pertaining to CRY objectives as part of CRY’s M & E system. He/ she will generate disaggregated reports as required for various purposes. He/ She will have to liaise with internal and external stakeholders for data acquisition and will be the regional hub for all information related to impact.

Key responsibilities:

  • Maintain the regional data based on Monitoring, Evaluation, Accountability and Learning (MEAL) by following up with partners on data collected by them regarding MEAL
  • Generate reports from the MEAL, provide a disaggregated analysis of the data in terms of theme, state, age, gender, community etc.
  • Be the focal point for any data related to MEAL in the region for the queries from any other functions within CRY.
  • Provide periodic feedback to partners on the quality of data collected, timeliness of data collected as per MEAL guidelines.
  • Consolidate and provide analysis from various formats that are part of MEAL system in the context of programme monitoring and evaluation ex Field Visit Report (FVR) , Annual Evaluation Report (AER)
  • Share the red flags with the regional Development Support (DS) and prepare narratives on the analysis in coordination with the respective state teams and region PH.
  • Capacity building of partners on basics of data analysis and data management.
  • Provide support to the Research Sub-Function of Policy, Research, Advocacy and Documentation (PRAD) towards any national research commissioned by way of supervising regional data collection, quality control of data collection etc.
  • Support any regional level research by state teams in conjunction with Program Head and AGM Research.
  • Work with and provide insights through analysis of program related data from regional team and partners in the region and undertake secondary data analysis on various themes as required from time to time.
  • Ensure quality and accuracy of evidence generated by regional program team for all advocacy purposes as required.

Qualification:
Degree / Post-graduation in Social Sciences/Social Work/Statistics. 7 to 9 years of experience in M &E role in the development sector

Skill sets required:

  • Data analysis and interpretation
  • Team Player with an orientation to play a supportive role
  • Ability to communicate effectively in writing
  • Proficiency in MS Excel, data analysis and cleaning is a must. Working knowledge of Tableau preferred. Knowledge of other tools like SPSS or SAS would be an added advantage.

CRY – Child Rights and You is India’s premier child rights NGO. We work to ensure lasting change in children’s lives by ensuring child rights through community empowerment. We do this by working with grassroots-level NGOs, communities and their children, influencing government policies, raising funds, and efficiently disbursing them, creating awareness and mobilizing people’s opinions on child rights.

The Role: The role responsibilities would constitute the following:

  • Read Annual Project Report/Annual Evaluation Report (AER) and prepare project wise summaries.
  • Identify gaps or inconsistencies in the basic data in Annual Evaluation Report and seek clarifications from the program team
  • Coordinate and follow-up with sanction authorities for approval
  • Highlight if any content is missing to the program teams for inclusion/clarification
  • Direct any queries received from GM Program/CEO/FD/Trustees to the concerned programme teams and follow up till queries are responded to and closed
  • Track the number of project sanctions that needs to come to DSHO in each cycle and follow up closely in case of delays
  • Complete sanction processing of each Annual Evaluation Report (AER) within the timeline after necessary coordination with different points

You:
You must hold a Post Graduate Degree in Child Development/Social Work/Development Studies or any related fields and have 5 to 7 years of experience in Program teams in the development sector with specific experience of writing and preparing large numbers of programme documents. Fluency and articulation of the English language is a must. A prior experience and familiarity of working on software for document processing.

Your Role:
This role is responsible for providing Program Operation support to DS Region. It includes administrative and database maintenance support to the DS function in order to ensure compliance with basic systems and processes of CRY and to make sure that DS-related information is always up to date and available for use by internal and external stakeholders. The role also ensures sanctions, disbursals, and audit requirements are completed on a timely basis. The role also ensures providing administrative support to all CRY-led Direct Intervention Projects which includes ensuring due diligence to the financial guidelines, timely processing of invoices and expenditure settlements, and DI SOPs.

Technical skills:

  • Grant-making and sanction processing skills.
  • MS Office using skills – Person who has the knowledge of word, excel, and PowerPoint and has experience in working with excel spreadsheets, preparing, consolidating, and generating reports /analysis from the spreadsheets (trend and comparative analysis) and working on basic formulas.
  • Maintaining database and generating various reports – Persons who have the ability to maintain database, both soft and hard copy documentation, maintain statutory documentation for systems records and audit purposes.
  • Coordinate with finance and provide required information/documents for statutory audits.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, and interpersonal skills.
  • A team player who is supportive, flexible, and ready to take on additional tasks and ability to cope with work pressure. Position Summary:
This position will manage design strategy and execution for CRY India and will work as a part of the brand team. Core responsibilities include conceptualizing and creating brand/social media campaigns, donor/volunteer communication, digital designs as well as event/activations branding. Increasing CRY brand visibility and recall and creating awareness around child rights will be a critical measure of this role. As a member of the Communications function, you will act as a brand custodian and ensure that all brand guidelines are adhered to.

Education, Skills & Experience:

  • Academic training in graphic design and visual communications

Your Challenge:

Your Role:
You are responsible for managing the individual engagement model of CRY for raising resources towards CRY’s objectives by providing insights to the RG team by analyzing donor data, trends and donor behaviors. Devise and suggest new strategies for individual donor engagement, monitor performance and suggest course corrections and thereby increase the effectiveness of resource mobilization teams.

  • Analysis of national/regional donor data/donation trends, sharing insights, recommending priority intervention areas and means. Mapping of different donor touch points and its response to identify patterns
  • Understand and identify the functional requirements for MIS – Responsible for design, generation and modification of the RG MIS-Incomes and costs/ Analytics reports to ensure a well-functioning system for timely tracking of RG performance IP and CP. To analyze data, assess trends and share insights
  • Build synergies and increase efficiencies in existing analytic operations
  • Institute systems and processes aimed at increasing efficiencies in analytic operations
  • Ensure compliance to agreed processes
  • Understand the requirements of the function and customize the BI reports to suit the functional needs
