Who We Are

CRY – Child Rights and You has been working for 47 years to ensure happier, healthier childhoods for India’s children.
From remote villages to crowded cities, we work on the ground and with governments, teachers, parents and communities, so every child gets the support they need to learn and thrive.

Today, CRY works across 20 states, partnering with thousands of grassroots organisations to create real, lasting change.

Our Impact So Far

• Reached 4.7 million children across India
• 23,22,375 children impacted in 2025-26
• 2,27,833 children in school
• 1,23,367 children empowered through children’s collectives
• 39,924 children benefitted from digital learning through CRY Support Centres
• 34,731 children protected from child labour/ marriage/ trafficking
• 5,917 kitchen gardens set up across 12 states to combat malnutrition
