All children deserve a healthy childhood, but there are many in our country who do not get adequate nutrition, timely immunizations, and proper healthcare. As a result, they often suffer from recurring diseases, stunted growth and in extreme cases, even face death. Given the disruption of government healthcare centres & midday meal systems during the pandemic, there is likely to be an increase in the number of underprivileged children who do not get the healthcare and nutrition they need.
These children urgently need YOUR help.
Here is how CRY is helping children and their mothers have a healthy future –
This World Health Day, donate to CRY – India’s most trusted NGO, to give children the gift of health. No contribution is too small and will make a big difference by helping India’s most vulnerable children survive, giving them a chance at a healthier future.
*In the 15-18 age group, our enrolment and retention rate is 18% better than the all India enrolment status – GER. (based on the UDISE+ 2023-24 report)
*(Only 2% children in CRY project areas are underweight, as compared to 32% all India status as per NFHS 5)
CRY works with project partners at the grassroots level to create sustainable change for India’s children. We currently have 150 project partners across 20 states in India that work on various child rights issues
