When girls complete their education, the nation prospers.
Join us for ‘Walk to EmpowHer’ – an initiative by CRY to raise awareness regarding the importance of girls’ completing their secondary education.
Education is a basic right, and yet many girls in India are denied it due to social stigma and economic pressures they face on daily basis. only 3 out of 5 girls are enrolled in higher secondary education (11th and 12th standards) (as per UDISE+ 2021-22 data). But did you know that when a girl stays in school, she not only delays marriage, but also builds her career, and improves her families’ health, benefiting our nation as well and you can be an active part of the solution.
