Why Research on Children’s Rights Matters

Children cannot advocate for themselves. Hence, as learned individuals of society, it falls upon us to speak up for these souls. Educate them, support them, and build them up to take a stand in the world. Children’s rights are not just meeting the basic needs of food, clothing, and shelter but beyond that. It includes inculcating values, upskilling them, and helping them realize their potential. And most importantly, providing a safe haven for the growing kids to live their childhood before they step into adulthood. To achieve this, it is incredibly important to research what impacts these children and how to bring them out of this.
